DHS Announces US-VISIT Met 2004 Goals Ahead of Schedule

By Andrew Cochran

The DHS press release claims that the US-VISIT entr-exit system is now in place at the 50 busiest land ports, 115 airports, and 15 seaports, and arrested or blocked the entry of 372 criminals or immigration violators. I would hope the DHS Acting Inspector General (the recent vacancy there is an interesting story in itself) and the Congress would review the claims for their validity.
