Is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi going to Damascus?

That's at least what Al Jazeera TV just reported.
According to the Qatari channel, Nancy Pelosi is heading for Syria on Tuesday April 3.
I have been told by another expert on this blog that upon calling the Pelosi office and asking for comment he was told that her office could not confirm or deny that report.
Nonetheless if that report were to be confirmed, what kind of message are we sending to states sponsor of terror?
